About the event
What's the buzz? Join us Saturday, May 18th for a Planting 101 Workshop + Seedling Sale and Vendor Market. We will practice techniques for seeding and transplanting, differentiate between which plants are good to transplant and which are good to seed directly into the ground, note the differences between annual and perennial plantings, determine how to space things in the garden, and discuss timing to maximize the growing season and to keep plants safe from late cold snaps and overheating in the summer. We will touch on good maintenance practices moving into peak growin season, and also open up a Q & A, so you can ask questions specific to your landscape/garden at home. We want you to leave feeling confident in your ability to maintain a successful garden this year :) There will be some Eat Your Yard vegetable seedlings available for purchase at the overlapping Vendor Market, so feel free to come for one or both events!
Come on out and enjoy a day of gardening activities with us!
RSVPs and ticket purchases are encouraged at: https://www.eatyouryarderie.com/workshops.
There is a minimum of 4 signups to run the workshop.
Workshop: 10am - 12pm - $15/person
